The Story Behind Builder Notes.
A story about curiosity, building 45+ apps, and finding my place through AI, content, and creation in MENA.
I always felt like I had something to say.

Since I was a child, I didn't want to leave the world without a legacy.
I always felt like I want to be part of something big.
And to reach that point, I knew I had to be different somehow.
I needed to keep trying random things.
To explore.
To see where life would take me.
Curiosity was in my DNA.
I said yes to almost everything that came my way — even when it felt too risky.
But I still chose that road anyway.
It felt natural.
Let me tell you a dope story.
This goes all the way back to 2018.
I was in university.
I chose computer science for one simple reason:
I wanted to become a hacker.
Like, for real.
Ironically, I never ended up building crazy technical things. I never became a pure coder. What I discovered instead was that I was good with people.
I knew how to bring out the best in them.
Eventually, I started bringing my friends together, building teams, and somehow…
We started winning National hackathons!

And fun fact?
I paid almost 50% of my university debt through hackathons hahaha.
(My dad is still happy.)
But from 2018 until now…
There was always a part of me calling.
A part of me that kept saying:
I wish I could build more.
Lucky me. The universe pushed me toward becoming a generalist — and I never looked back.
Generalist?
What does that even mean?
In short, it means you don’t always know where life will hit you.
But you’re okay with that.
You’re okay with trying different paths without overthinking every move.
You’re like a chef testing different recipes until one day, you create your own special recipe.
Over the past 7–8 years, I’ve explored:
- data
- analytics
- business
- social listening
- AI
- content creation
- community management
- marketing…
...you name it.
All that led to one moment. The AI shift that changed my life.

When the AI wave happened, it felt like the universe rewarded me at exactly the right time.
I felt like I had superpowers.
When ChatGPT came out, I spent 7 days without moving.
I felt like I could move mountains.
For the first time, it felt like life was saying:
Your time is now.
I was given green light from the universe.
And that’s where everything clicked.
So I started building.
My first real experience was with Replit with a mix of ChatGPT.

I built a software called Ameen Hub.
The idea was simple: collect all the du’as and prayers in one place and organize them by category.
And honestly, that was super cool.
I spent so much time building it that I ended up with lower back pain, which I still deal with today 😄
But that experience was special because I had never built something like that before.
It genuinely felt like my life opened up in a completely new way.
And from that moment, I never looked back.
I started building AI software every single weekend.
By 2025, I had built over 45 apps.

The coolest part was experimenting with APIs, frameworks, tools, and systems.
And honestly, I felt super, super cool 😄
And I kept thinking...
People need to see this side of building too.
That’s why I started Builder Notes.
I want to share the cool stuff, the bad stuff, what’s happening in the world of AI, and what’s happening in the MENA region.
I feel like we need to talk way more about AI, marketing, content, and building within our region.
That’s why I started this.
I want to share all the cool stuff with you, including the behind-the-scenes.
And honestly, I think it’s going to be very, very cool.
So if you’re into AI, marketing, content, building, creation, business, or sales…
This place is for you.
Welcome to Builder Notes 😄
